Saharan Meteorite
Here is a meteorite which I purchased from the Hupé
Collection. It has a small TKW of just 9.50g which is all
pictured here. It has quite an unusual matrix with numerous
small black inclusions which look like charcoal to the
naked-eye. There appears to be very few visible chondrules. The
meteorite also has a very 'sandy' texture and make-up. Take a
look at the great photo below which is courtesy of the Hupés.
This specimen is part of the Meteorites Australia Collection.
