Unclassified NWA - 1.6g Endcut
This specimen was
purchased on eBay during August, 2009. It is a small 1.6g endcut
but unfortunately the whereabouts of the remaining part of the
stone is unknown. This endcut measures 20mm x 20mm at widest
points and displays a prominent vesicle-like structures
throughout the piece. They do tend to appear more like 'druses'
as seen in some meteorites like D'Orbigny. Most fragments within
this specimen are sub-millimetre in size and angular although
there are a few which have rounded edges. This specimen is part
of the Meteorites Australia Collection (MA.09.0019).
