ad-Dahbubah (H5) - 2.13g Partslice with Large Pale Chondrule

This is a specimen from the ad-Dahbubah meteorite, which was found during March, 1961 in Rub'al Khali, Saudi Arabia. This meteorite has been classified as an H5 chondrite and has a Total Known Weight of 90.7kg. The specimen below has a very large well defined chondrule or inclusion which is quite irregular compared with the usual matrix evident in this meteorite. This specimen is part of the the Meteorites Australia Collection.
