Unclassified NWA - 133.2g Highly Oriented Individual
This specimen is an example of a beautifully
oriented meteorite! It's a 99% crusted 133.2g palm-sized, shield shaped
individual with numerous orientation features. The first of
which are the
remnants of frothing in the crust on the trailing side. This is
visible as small pits or holes in the surface. The other are the
flow lines radiating from a central point on the leading edge. This specimen is part
of the Meteorites Australia Collection (MA.06.0045).
