Each
month I'm going to be updating this page with my current
favourite meteorite for an opportunity to maybe see something
you hadn't seen before or just for a bit of fun. The first
Monthly Favourite is NWA 965. The single stone was found in
North West Africa in 2001 and has a tiny TKW of only 19.2g! It
has been classified as an LL4 with a Shock Level of 2 and a
Weathering Level of 3. I currently own 7.10g in the form of 12
pieces in the Meteorites Australia Collection. These include 5 Complete Slices, 3 Partslices and 4 Endcuts. Take a look at the photos below to see
this great little meteorite.
